Visual inspection of the brick body should not have ripples, bubbles and layered streaks caused by inhomogeneity in the glass body. The inner concave of the large outer surface of the glass brick should be less than 1 mm, and the outer convex should be less than 2 mm.
The inspection of fibreglass chopped strands should not only be tested according to the requirements of flat glass, but also its processing quality should be inspected to check whether the specifications and dimensions are standard, whether the processing accuracy and pattern clarity meet the requirements, and the edges are not allowed to have defects.

By mastering the core technology of alkali-free chopped glass fiber reinforced composite materials, the batch production of alkali-free chopped glass fiber material for auto parts has become a reality, and may partially replace steel parts. Alkali-free chopped glass fiber is an inorganic non-metallic material, which has advantages over traditional materials in terms of strength, elasticity, corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Compared with traditional materials, auto parts made of alkali-free chopped glass fiber are lighter in weight. Under the same conditions, the weight of parts using composite materials is only 1/3 of that of traditional materials. However, due to the current technology and cost of composite materials, the proportion of domestic vehicle accessories only accounts for 8% to 12%, while foreign vehicles account for 20% to 30%. The use of this composite material to replace traditional steel is in line with the trend of lightweight development of automobiles. It is expected that in 5 to 10 years, this material will be widely used in auto parts. Such as car seats, bumpers, tray brackets and other accessories, will replace steel, the use of alkali-free chopped glass fiber reinforced composite materials, will reduce the weight of the car, promote energy saving and emission reduction.
